1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Crossbound.eu (“Crossbound”, “the Platform” or “the Service”), including any associated features, subscriptions and affiliate programme.
Crossbound is operated by Reaching Expatations, a sole proprietorship registered in the Netherlands.
By accessing or using Crossbound, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
Additional terms may apply to specific features, promotions, subscriptions or participation in the affiliate programme. Where applicable, those terms form part of the agreement between you and the relevant contracting party.

3. Eligibility and accounts
You must have the legal capacity required to enter into a binding agreement under the laws applicable to you.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep your account information reasonably up to date.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activities carried out through your account, except to the extent that unauthorised activity results from circumstances for which we are responsible under applicable law.
You must notify us promptly if you become aware of unauthorised access to your account.
We may require additional information where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, verify an account or comply with applicable law.
4. The Crossbound service
Crossbound provides access to digital features and services as described on Crossbound.eu and in the relevant plan or purchase description.
The available features, technical requirements, limits and subscription benefits may vary according to the plan selected.
We aim to describe the Service accurately, but we may develop, improve or modify features over time. We will not use this right to remove essential paid functionality in a manner that violates applicable law or an existing contractual obligation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes statutory rights relating to the conformity, availability or proper performance of digital services.
5. Subscriptions and pricing
Crossbound may offer paid subscription plans, including:
- Basic: €8.99 per month or €89.90 per year (2 months off).
- Pro: €19.99 per month or €199.90 per year (2 months off).
The prices above include VAT and may change. The applicable price, billing period, taxes and any promotional conditions will be presented at checkout before you place an order.
The final amount charged may depend on applicable taxes, your location, currency and the terms displayed during checkout.
If a price or subscription feature changes, the change will apply to future purchases or renewals as permitted by applicable law and the terms communicated to you. We will provide any notice required by law before a change takes effect.
6. Payment processing and Merchant of Record
Payments are processed by Stripe. For eligible transactions, Stripe (through its Link reseller service) acts as the merchant of record and your card statement may show "LINK.COM* CROSSBOUND".
Stripe handles the relevant payment transaction and may manage payment collection, applicable transaction taxes, receipts, invoices, subscription billing and renewals, refunds and payment-related customer support.
Your purchase may also be subject to Stripe's applicable buyer terms and policies. Where Stripe's terms govern its role in a transaction, those terms apply to that role.
Crossbound remains responsible for providing the Crossbound Service in accordance with the applicable product description and mandatory law.
You authorise recurring payments when you purchase a recurring subscription and agree to the billing terms displayed at checkout.
7. Automatic renewal and cancellation
Unless the checkout explicitly states otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
By subscribing, you authorise the recurring charges disclosed at checkout, including any applicable taxes.
You may cancel your subscription through the subscription-management facility provided with your purchase or by following the relevant cancellation instructions.
Unless otherwise stated in your plan terms or required by law, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You will generally retain access to paid features until then.
Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not automatically refund a payment already made.
If you experience difficulty cancelling, contact legal@reachingexpatations.com for assistance.
8. Refunds and consumer rights
Refund requests are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy, applicable Stripe procedures and mandatory consumer protection law.
If you are a consumer, you may have statutory rights relating to withdrawal, digital-service conformity, remedies and refunds. These rights cannot be excluded by these Terms.
Where applicable, the commencement of digital service delivery during a statutory withdrawal period may require your express consent and acknowledgement of the legal consequences.
Please read our separate Refund Policy before purchasing a subscription.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Crossbound for unlawful purposes or in violation of applicable regulations.
- Interfere with the operation, security or integrity of the Service.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems or data.
- Introduce malicious code, automated abuse or other harmful activity.
- Circumvent subscription restrictions, usage limits or security measures.
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person or organisation.
- Use Crossbound in a manner that infringes the rights of others.
- Abuse referral codes, affiliate links, promotions or commission mechanisms.
- Reverse engineer or copy protected elements of the Service except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
We may investigate suspected violations and take proportionate action, including restricting access or suspending an account where reasonably necessary. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
10. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, Crossbound and its associated materials, branding, software, text, graphics, designs and other content are owned by or licensed to Reaching Expatations or the relevant rights holder.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Service for its intended purpose.
You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, commercially exploit or create derivative works from protected elements of Crossbound without prior permission, except where permitted by law.
Any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used to improve the Service without compensation, provided this does not override your statutory rights or permit the unlawful use of your personal data.
11. Affiliate programme
Crossbound may operate an affiliate programme that allows approved participants to promote the Service through referral links, codes or other approved promotional materials.
Participation is subject to the following principles and any additional affiliate programme terms we publish or provide.
11.1 Registration and approval
Affiliates must provide accurate information and comply with any application, verification and payout requirements.
We may approve or reject applications and may suspend or terminate participation where reasonably necessary to protect the programme, users or business.
11.2 Commission
Commission Calculation
Affiliates earn a recurring commission of 20% of eligible net revenue (the actual amount paid by the referred customer after applied discounts and promotional pricing, excluding VAT and applicable sales taxes) on every successful recurring subscription payment for the active lifetime of the referred subscription, for as long as the customer remains subscribed.
No commission is earned on refunded or charged-back payments, unpaid invoices, or the VAT and applicable sales-tax portion of a transaction.
A commission is not earned merely because a visitor clicks a referral link or begins a checkout. The transaction must meet the applicable programme requirements.
11.3 Refunds, chargebacks and invalid transactions
Refunds, chargebacks, unpaid invoices and the VAT or applicable sales-tax portion of a transaction do not qualify for commission. Commissions already credited for a transaction that is later refunded or charged back may be reversed or deducted from future eligible commissions, subject to applicable law and the programme terms.
We may withhold disputed commissions while investigating suspected fraud, duplicate referrals or other material programme violations.
11.4 Promotional conduct
Affiliates must:
- Clearly disclose their commercial relationship with Crossbound where required by applicable advertising and consumer protection law.
- Make truthful, accurate and non-misleading statements about Crossbound.
- Use referral links and promotional codes only as authorised.
- Avoid spam, deceptive advertising, fake accounts, fraudulent purchases and misleading redirects.
- Avoid implying that they are Crossbound employees or authorised representatives unless explicitly authorised.
- Respect applicable privacy, marketing, intellectual property and platform rules.
Affiliates must not promise features, discounts, refunds, guarantees or support arrangements that Crossbound has not authorised.
11.5 Attribution and programme changes
Referral attribution is intended to be recorded through referral identifiers and account-level or database records. A commission is payable only where the referral can be reliably attributed to the customer and the relevant payment meets the programme requirements. We cannot guarantee attribution where the available records do not reliably connect a referral with an account or transaction.
The standard commission is 20% of eligible net revenue on each successful recurring subscription payment for the active lifetime of the referred subscription, as described in Section 11.2. We may update programme mechanics or promotional requirements prospectively. Any change to the commission rate or duration will apply only as permitted by applicable law and any existing agreement, and appropriate notice will be provided where required.
We may suspend or terminate an affiliate account for material violations, fraudulent activity or misuse of the programme. Accrued, valid commissions will be handled in accordance with the applicable programme terms and law.
12. Third-party services and links
Crossbound uses or may connect to third-party services, including Lovable Cloud for the application's backend and database, Google OAuth for optional Google sign-in, Google Search Console for search-performance reporting, and Stripe for payment transactions.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party products or services to the extent that we do not control them, subject to any responsibilities imposed on us by law.
The availability or configuration of a third-party service may affect some Crossbound functionality.
13. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Crossbound available and functioning properly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
Maintenance, updates, security incidents, third-party outages or circumstances outside our reasonable control may temporarily affect availability.
We may modify, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for security, technical, legal or business reasons. We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and will respect applicable contractual and consumer rights.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Crossbound at any time and may request account deletion in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Subscription cancellation and account deletion are separate actions where the relevant systems treat them separately. If you want to prevent future subscription charges, ensure that your subscription is cancelled.
We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, engage in fraud or unlawful activity, or create a serious risk to the Service or other users.
Where reasonably possible and appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy a breach before taking action. This does not prevent immediate action where necessary to address security threats, fraud, legal obligations or serious harm.
Termination does not remove obligations or rights that accrued before termination, including valid payment obligations and rights under applicable law.
15. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal data in connection with Crossbound.
By using the Service, you acknowledge that personal data will be processed as described in that Policy and in accordance with applicable data protection law.
16. Disclaimers
Crossbound is provided for its described purposes. We do not guarantee that the Service will meet every individual requirement, achieve a particular result or remain compatible with every device, browser or third-party service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, guarantee or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
17. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses that could not reasonably have been foreseen when the relevant contract was formed.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be unlawful, including liability that cannot legally be excluded for intentional misconduct or other non-excludable grounds.
Where liability may lawfully be limited, any limitation will be interpreted in accordance with applicable law and will not deprive consumers of mandatory remedies.
18. Indemnity
If you use Crossbound in a business or professional capacity, you agree, to the extent permitted by law, to be responsible for losses and reasonable costs arising directly from your unlawful use of the Service, infringement of third-party rights or material breach of these Terms.
This section does not impose an indemnity on consumers to the extent that it would be unfair or unenforceable under applicable consumer law.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Crossbound, the affiliate programme, our business operations or applicable law.
The latest version will be published on Crossbound.eu with an updated date. Where a change materially affects an existing subscription or contractual right, we will provide notice where required by law.
Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect does not override any consent requirement or other protection imposed by applicable law.
20. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, subject to any mandatory consumer protection provisions that apply in your country of residence.
If you have a complaint or dispute, please contact legal@reachingexpatations.com first so we can attempt to resolve the matter informally.
Nothing in these Terms deprives consumers of the right to bring proceedings before a court that has jurisdiction under applicable law.
21. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
